Apple iPhone SE – Not made for everyone

iPhone-SE-Apple-930x523Apple has been literally the “apple” of everyone’s eyes and fingertips ever since the first iPhone was launched in 2007. Apple has always lived up to its tagline “Think Different” and this came as no surprise when they decided to launch a new power packed 4” iPhone when it had already launched a 5.5” iPhone 6S. So why take some features from the 6S and put it in smaller iPhone?

Firstly we all, or most of us (Sorry Android users!) would agree that if you don’t have an iPhone, well you don’t have an iPhone. Now the question would be even if I have an iPhone why would I invest in something smaller or in some cases people would even say medieval. Smaller screens you say? Those are things of the past! Well as much as it is interesting and exciting to have a phone the size of both your palms together, I would rather have something smaller. I have always been a fan of the “one hand use” for phones. I need something that fits in my pocket and is amazing. I feeiphone_se_8l iPhone SE serves that purpose.

iPhone SE has seen the light of the day, and it comes with equally power packed features borrowed from the 6S. Here’s why it’s a good buy. One thing is it is the cheapest of all iPhones out there, and if you are someone using a 5 or a 5S, it would definitely be a good buy for you because the one hand use and the convenience it brings along. The edges are sharp and not curvy and the fact that it fits in one hand, your hand doesn’t hurt from holding on to it for longer hours.

Apple has tried to capture the market through users who still feel the need to have a smaller smartphone that does everything that a typical 6” smartphone or a phablet could do, only better. The camera is the same as the 6S, a 12MP, iPhone_SE_Openso the qualities of pictures are way better than the older ones. It has the A9 processor which makes it a really fast phone and SE is said to have the best batteries of all the iPhones out there and works amazingly well over 3G and LTE. Siri can be accessed wirelessly, and that is a good add on. The selfie camera is the same as the old one, a 1.2MP, which could have been improvised. The edges are a bit sharp so using a case is advisable.

If you are used to a bigger phone, do not go for the SE as you won’t like getting used to the smaller screen and keyboard. This iPhone while has its own pros and cons, would attract its own set of audience, who would want to buy it because of what all it has to offer. It would be a great first iPhone but for people already using 6 and 6S, it would be a downgrade.
